Arp Laszlo is an Indian-American comic creator, illustrator, writer, and all-around gadabout.

He’s a child of the 70s who still thinks bell bottoms are cool and hunts for them regularly in secret thrift shops whose locations are zealously guarded.

He’s the first person in his family born in the US, didn’t speak English til he was 5, and spent 6 months a year in India until he was 10. His first full year trapped in school was 4th grade – in Catholic school, no less.

His major influences are:

  • Bill Watterson’s Calvin & Hobbes
  • Berke Breathed’s Bloom County
  • Herge’s Tintin
  • Monty Python
  • Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim

He lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida with his lovely wife, 4 children, 2 indoor cats, 2 outdoor cats, 1 half indoor/half outdoor cat, 2 rats, 7 fish, and 1 big ass dog.

He also refuses to watch Bollywood movies made after 1985.
